I'd love to have the option to exclude folders (e.g. the autostart folder) and files (e.g. all *uninstall* files) from the catalog, That would make the alternatives list much clearer.
I want this feature quite badly. I have symbolic links that create recursive loops, launchy catalogs a directory which ends up going through a symlink and then eventually catalogs everything until it meets the symlink again, creating dozens of nested directories and files.
My only temp fix was reducing directory depth, but in order to get everything i want, i end up having to put up with a few recursive directory loops.

I'd love to be able to do that as well. I sometimes need to index the whole content of a large directory (say in "my documents" folder) except one or two folders, and I can't find a way to do this so far. It would really be great.
