I use Gnome-Do when using Ubuntu and it has this sweet Google Docs plugin.
You just hit your Gnome-Do hotkey to fire up the search box and start typing your Google Docs document name. It autocompletes (as usual) and when you hit enter, a new browser tab/window fires up with your document open. Very useful!
I sorely miss this functionality w/ Launchy under Win7.
Nice idea. If I used Google Docs I'd have a bash at porting it. Perhaps someone else would care to create this as a plugin?
