x64 Windows version ready

    I have built an x64 version of Launchy and plugins:
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8871517/x64files.7z
    The archive contains only the needed files for x64 application.

    It was build using MSVC 2008, so if there are troubles running the application you'll need to install a redistributable package:
    http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=2092

    I have made some changes into the project to remove build errors (precompiled headers), also used the latest version of boost. If there is a need I can commit my project files or submit them to developers.

    It would be nice to have an installer for x64 platform.

    what version of QT did you use?  I've been TRYING to update my build to use qt 4.8 I can't get around a couple of major problems

    Doesn't Qt have full backward compatibility? What problems do you have?
    You should be able to just copy your Qt 4.8 x64 dlls over my and everything should work, doesn't it?

    it should but there's a few weird QT specific bugs that appeared when I did that.  First bug is that icon previews no longer display for anything except cpl files.  Second bug is that the file browser can't see outside launchy's directory.  The first bug I traced down to qpixmap not being thread safe but I'm not good enough with threading to fix it.  The file browser problem I'm guessing has to do with qt's changelog that says it optimized file system browsing but that's all I've got so far.

    I saw your topic on that problem.
    I did some source browsing, and I found out that using QIcon (which uses QPixmap) is not safe in thread other then GUI. Qt throws a warning into console about that. So it is needed to move icon loading into GUI thread, but this will make launchy sluggish. What is not very good.
