#492 If path has NO spaces Ubuntu fails to open any file

This is one of the most strange bugs I have ever discover.

If I try to open a file and the path has some space, it is opened correctly. However, if the path has not spaces, it opens nothing. (notice: the opposite, is a quite "normal" bug).

For example, the following will NOT open:

  • /media/ch/ch/Dropbox/Otros/CIMG0142.JPG
  • /media/ch/ch/Dropbox/archivos_de_texto/basurilla.txt

As a workaround, I added spaces to get it working. The following is opened well:

  • /media/ch/ch/Dropbox/archivos_de_texto/basurilla blabla.txt
  • /media/ch/ch/Dropbox/archivos de texto/basurilla.txt

I'm on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. According with the Ubuntu Software Center, I have installed Launchy 2.5-3. However, the "about" section of Launchy says 2.5.0.

Thank you for creating Launchy!
