RDAS-Palm & Release Plan

The first release in the LaunchNet series will be the "LaunchNet-Palm 1.0 alpha" Flight Computer Field Assistant, formerly "RDAS-Palm".

Launchnet-Palm will support multiple flight computers, data networking, and realtime flight telemetry.

This release is planned for Spring- Summer 2002.

Concurrent with this release, or soon afterward, the first release of the LaunchNet-RJ server-side application for web based data sharing and realtime flight telemetry will be released. This application will be for the opensource Rhinojetty application server, also at SourceForge.

Soon after the release of Launchnet-RJ, our first release of Launchnet-Java: the desktop and web applet client to the Launchnet system. Launchnet-Java's principal objective is the display of realtime flight telemetry via a streaming HTTP connection using OBEX format data.
