Ran setup on Win2k as admin, AL worked. Logged on as a standard user, AL locks up and denies to get killed.
Hi, cool that you tested it out on win2k. Haven't had the time to do so myself. Remember that AL only allows one instance of the application at all times. I have not tested if the mechanism I use (from within wxpython) also prevents other users on the same machine to fire up an instance. This might be the case though. Also when you tried to kill AL are you sure you actually owned that process? And that it wasn't the administrators process you tried to kill as the standard user?
