Include document icons in .exe

I would like to include my document icon in the .exe, together with the
application icon... But so far launch4j only supports the .ico format, which
only handles one icon (with various sizes and depths).
A solution would be for launch4j to support the .icl icon library format as
well as .ico.
I know right now it's possible to add icons to a .exe with resource hacker
on Windows, but I am creating the .exe on a Mac (nice feature, btw), and I
don't want to go and use a Windows machine every time I recreate
the .exe.

Icons in Windows resource files must be in .ICO format. This isn't a Launch4j requirement. The best bet may be to find a program that converts from/to .ICO or allows you to create ICO files. I know there are Adobe Photoshop plugins that will do this. I personally use the ICO plugin from http://telegraphics.com.au/sw/#icoformat which is available at no cost for Photoshop for Mac and Windows; it adds ICO to the list of formats in the "Save As" dialog. There are probably some standalone Mac programs that will convert between ICO and other formats too.
