but is it possible to get a ANIMETED splash screen, maybe a gif is ok ( I think a progressbar is to much), in the version(3.01) only bmp is availble ?!

Only BMP is available because of the Win32API support, GIF and other formats would probably require an additional library (probably bigger than the wrapper itself :-)
