Cylance blocks execution and quarantines freeplane, using launch4j

Hi! I am a user of freeplane, which started using launch4j.
It seems versions of freeplane that has since been released, are blocked and quarantined by Cylance protect security/anti-virus software. (I am a corporate end-user and have no say in what security software are employed.)
I also added a ticket with freeplane, https://github.com/freeplane/freeplane/issues/1886.
I also filed a report with internal IT, but I am not very hopeful that Cylance will pay any heed to our complaints. Is there anything a simple end-user could do ?
Hi,
This is a big problem for open source projects which usually cannot afford
to sign the executables - this would improve the chances of not getting a
false positive. One option (which can be blocked for you) is to add an
exception to Cylance. The other is to use the batch file instead in order
to run Freeplane.
Best regards,
Grzegorz

Hello Gregorz, thankyou for your sympathetic reply.
Yes, I will see if I can devise a way to launch freeplane using a bat file instead. Corporate IT landscape citizenship can be so frustrating!
