Hi! I am using Launch4J on Windows XP. I have Java 7 installed. The generated exe does not find my java.exe.

This is WEIRD behavior. java.exe is even in the path (!). And Launch4J doesn't find it...?

Please fix this!!

Attached is the launch4j file.

Run your application with the --l4j-debug option, and attach the output log file.

    OK, here's the log.

Now, btw, something even weirder is happening: When I click the cogwheel icon in Launch4J, it just does nothing. I can load and save the config, but not make an exe anymore. No error message, nothing in the log view. What's up there?

(btw I switched to Java Webstart for now... I used to like Launch4J, but right now it doesn't seem to work for me...)

OK, I was able to reproduce the problem. You've got the 'Error occurred while starting the application.' popup, not the one about Java.

OK, sorry... what does it mean then?

Before I make the fix this will help:

    1. In the basic tab set the Change dir to dot '.'.
    2. And add a dot to the classpath using the edit item/accept.

It means a problem in launch4j, try the fix above for now.

Fixed, cogwheel moved to separate ticket.
