#1 Source Code Missing?

I wondered if you might confirm that the source code
archive really does contain - or should contain - the
source code. When I unpack it, the GUI application
appears to be just a pre-compiled binary. In fact, the
whole thing appears to be pre-compiled but uninstalled.
I am wondering if there has been some sort of mistake?
