Alright, dudes. I am off-work for a week starting tomorrow, and I would
like to finalize a pre-alpha release that will consist of
laptop-specific packages, and a solid kernel config. Let's use SF's bug
tracker to log and track bugs.
I think the patched-kernel itself is pretty darn functional and stable
thanks to Gorn, so unless someone has some issues, I say we move forward
with it. My HOWTO is almost done, and I will post it this weekend along
with my kernel config.
Taking off on Nathan's idea, I think the release of all the tools as
packages is a great first start and will give us some breathing room to
put some focus on adapting Slack 10.1.
If you haven't tested out the kernel or the packages, please do so this
weekend and give us some feedback!
