I think this should be possible. If I understand correctly, the MKL implements
the BLAS functions (but in Intel's way) but the function signatures should be
unchanged? If that is the case, then this will probably be picked up
correctly during lapackpp's ./configure (you might want to use
--with-blas=... and --with-lapack=... options for the corresponding library
names to use).

In principle this would be possible, but in practice I guess the Intel
compiler will complain about various gcc-specific c++ features that have been
used in lapackpp. You would need to fix those one by one (or report them
here). I think this is not too difficult, but it would require some work
nevertheless.
