[ LAME ] OpenHarmony Adaptation Proposal

Background

OpenHarmony is an open-source project incubated and operated by the OpenAtom Open Source Foundation, dedicated to building an intelligent terminal operating system platform for all scenarios, all connectivity, and all intelligence.

LAME is a widely used open-source MP3 encoder project. To enhance OpenHarmony's capabilities in audio processing, media content generation, and related scenarios, we have completed the adaptation of LAME on the OpenHarmony platform.

Adaptation Plan

We have made adjustments to the build scripts, dependency configurations, and platform compatibility of LAME to ensure it builds and runs smoothly on OpenHarmony. The specifics include:

  1. Merging into the main community.
  2. Regular maintenance by the community.

Test Results

We have conducted verification tests on various OpenHarmony devices, including development boards and audio modules:
* Encoding output quality meets expectations.
* Stable operation across various bitrate settings.
* Performance meets real-time audio processing requirements.

We look forward to your feedback.
