On V5, it seems that we have a problem in low volume parts of tracks. In
those cases, users are reporting some high frequency ringing. While some
have suggested to alter the max allowed adjustment, I am not sure if
this is a good solution.
The problem is related to the ATH, that is for sure. It might be that
the allowed adjustment is too low, but it might also be the base level
that is too high.
As the reported problem is high freq ringing, it might also be that the
ath slope is not optimal.
But in "regular" volume parts, this problem is not reported. It might
means that the low to mid part of the ath still have some margin.
Regarding the ath adjustment itself, it is probably not optimal. (btw

I think that the adjustment speed could perhaps be reworked. Does it
need to be "linear" or no?
