I want translate LAM to pt_br, any problem?

Hi!

    My name is Alexandre, and I have been using LAM for some time now, 
and I would like to translate it to my native language ( Portuguese 
Brazilian ). Could you send me an empty PO file?

sorry for the late answer, I was on holidays for some weeks.

there is already somebody working on this translation. I will write him
and check if this is still the case. Then I will mail you back.

no, this would be great. ;-)

Here is how our translation system works:

The .po file[1] contains all English strings ("msgid") in our
project. You would need to write the translation for each string in
"msgstr". The msgid must not be changed.
At the beginning of the file please enter your name etc.
Please note that the file must be encoded in UTF8.
I would suggest to use KBabel (http://i18n.kde.org/tools/kbabel/) or
PoEdit for the translation but any editor with UTF8 support can do it, too.

Then I will need the string "Brazilian (Brazil)" translated to Brazilian
(also UTF8). This is needed for the language selection box. You can just
put the string in another text file.

When you are finished with the translation just send me the files or use
the patch tracker at our SourceForge project homepage.

Whenever there are new releases and the language files need to be
updated I will inform you on this mailinglist.

lam-i18n or contact me directly.
