Today Version .02 of Ladon the universal distributed computing environment was released.

This new release includes a prototype indexServer allowing clients to participate in multiple projects.  Also included in this release in the doc directory are a number of UML Diagrams to help those interested in joining the development process.

Ladon is the distributed computing system to replace the proprietary software of distributed.net and the various @home projects.  The goal is to allow anyone to create there own distributed computing project.  And to simplify the process of raising awareness and recruiting participants by allowing the end-user to choose between any number of independent projects.

The project is in a very early stage, in terms of design very little has been committed to. We are looking for anyone interested in getting involved in a project at the ground floor.
