My coworker is stuck with LV2009 VIs.
He wants to use it with LV2009.

Is it possible to make it compatible with LV2009?

There should be nothing stopping it from working in LV2009, so I've backported it. I don't think I can make a 2009-compatible installer though, so I've uploaded a ZIP to the files page. Please confirm if it works.

I tried several VIs in zeromq3-LV2009-1.3.1.62.zip, and it seemed to work in LV2009.
But I haven't tested every VI in it.

Why do you think you can't make a 2009-compatible installer?

Sorry for the delay. As I understand it, I can't make a 2009-compatible installer, because I don't have LV2009 - this is a limitation of VIPM.

The package file is built using my local LabVIEW install (2010), which cannot be opened by an earlier version. So while I can export the individual VIs as older versions, I have no option when it comes to making the installer because VIPM won't let me.

Unzipping the VIs from that ZIP into \addons\zeromq should still allow you to use the library though.

    Hi,
first of all Thanks for your work on this Project.
Unfortunately I'm also stuck with LabView 2009, don't ask why :)
At the moment I'm using version 1.3.1.62, and it's working without problems, but i think maybe it's better to use an newer version.
Is it much work for you to create a backport for LV2009?

      Hi,
Sorry to hear you're stuck with 2009; probably for the same reason I was stuck with 2010 myself. I've tried to backport the library (attached) but without 2009 myself I can't test it. If it works I can probably back-port the examples too.

      Cheers,
      Martijn
