#59 Rework Create New Blog Dialogue
A sample new dialogue is attached.
1) The current flow for creating a new blog is confusing, and users may miss the security. Security settings should be part of initial screen and saved at the same time as the blog is created and the other settings.
2) Short name for the blog, explanation is incomplete. Suggest also show the user the url for the blog.
3) At the moment these “Security” settings are more about privacy? More help is needed to explain what this security section is for, and what the different options are.
4) The new zone thing is confusing. Also this doesn’t say anything about what rights anyone has on a particular blog, on a public blog can anyone come a long and post?
5) There should be a confirmation when the user clicks on Save Details, it is not clear that anything happens when you click on it. Also, I would expect to be taken to the newly created blog to a point where I can create a post.

Replaced example .DOC file with a .PDF.
For 2/A we could put the machine url in front of the short name, so people can tell how the url will be formed. Although perhaps rewording the text so its clear what the short text is used for would be a better solution.
5/E has already been done.
The dialogue has been reworked separately to this bug, its hopefully more clearly laid out.
Cerys, I'm going to bounce this bug to you so you can review where we are currently under 2.3 and can comment on what should change relative to that instead.
If some of the concepts in this form can't be concisely summarised with text on the page itself, perhaps links to the online documentation may be a better alternative?
