In order to make installation easier, will create a debian package.

    - a labtrove dependancies debian / ubuntu package
    - a labtrove distribution debian / ubuntu package

The first would help manual installations of labtrove on deb/ub boxes, the latter would help with more automated installs on vanilla OS installations.

We currently provide a Debian metapackage:
    http://www.labtrove.org/files/packages/labtrove-deps_2.2.6-11_all.deb

This contains no actual software, but has all (most?) of the same dependencies as a fully deployed LabTrove.
This should be replaced with a 'real' packaged version of LabTrove. File locations, docs etc. should mimic the WordPress packages.
For Ubuntu, a Personal Package Archive [1] should be created.

A RPM should be produced for RedHat Enterprise / CentOS / Scientific Linux etc.
