L2TP LAC and LNS / News: Recent posts

Tests were ran with two 128MB, 1GHz Athlon systems running Redhat versions 6.2 and 7.1 connected with 100Mbit ethernet.

Please note the following performance statistics are estimated using ping, so real performance may vary greatly. The throughput test showed 64Mbit/second. 1400 bytes packets were transfered at a rate of 5730/second. The traffic was spread over 20 sessions.

A second test was ran with 64 byte packets, but the packet rate didn't improve much to 6395 packets/second.... read more

Support has been added for LNS, RH 7.1 and RH 7.2

- Support for Redhat versions 6.2 and 7.0 (2.2.14,2.2.16)
- Client/LAC for modem-less VPN support
- Numerous otions and switches for L2TP and PPP
