Hi,

kxicq2 was working fine until yesterday. The last thing
I did was try to send an SMS message, and ever since
then it won't connect. I get 'Disconnection error',
'you have been disconnected for the following reason -
connection closed by icq server'.

OK, so that might mean that the servers on the fritz.
Trouble is, in spite of having 'debug' checked in the
preferences, I can't find any more detailed output than
that. I'm using KXicq2 0.7.7 on KDE 2.2.1 (SuSE 7.3).

Any help would be gratefully received.

Further to that one - it appears that it may be due to a
timeout on my appallingly slow ISP. Nevertheless, I could
use the debug output to beat them up with.

    Any suggestions?

I have the same issue, the thing that irks me about this
problem is that the debug output on the console clearly
shows my icq connecting (authenticating etc). It then
downloads my contacts from the server side list, then it
says "manually disconnected" before the popup window
appears. This appears a bit odd since I was "automatically"
disconnected. I am using KDE3.0 and I did the cvs install as
detailed on the website (replace admin directory, modify
    Makefile.AM. etc)
