KDE 3.1 News

New for KDE 3.1, KWeather will now support a dcop interface that can handle multiple weather stations. We also have provided a few UI cleanups and improvements to the METAR parser. More new screenshots and KWeather scripts will be posted shortly.

Development for KDE 2 Has Started!

I have started porting the program to KDE 2.
Currently I have moved all of the METAR data parsing code to a separate library. I am trying to make it as portable as possible. The next step will be to make it work with the KDE 2 dock Kicker.

My current timeline will be to have this finished by the end of next week.

We have moved in!

Well I am getting near the end of my stay at MSOE so I have moved development off of there site and on to SourceForge.

If you wish to help out or put in your two cents please let me know. I want to see KWeather grow but I really am not sure what people are doing with it. I want to use SourceForge to try to expand KWeather to what the OpenSource community wants.
