I cannot build master. I get:

I assume that you try to build v0.8.8 - which is out of date. Please try again with v0.8.9 or latest version from git.
Please note that the git repository has changed, if you refer to the old documentation you will be pointed to the wrong repository.
(http://sourceforge.net/p/kwave/code/ should point you to the right one)

It’s a git clone I just got from SourceForge, and I don’t think I have the wrong one:

    [gallaecio@afonsox kwave]$ git log
    commit 455da8ba479bbf6e19e7eaccc93047cff2c3c16f
    Author: Thomas Eschenbacher Thomas.Eschenbacher@gmx.de
    Date: Sat Dec 15 18:01:04 2012 +0100

using DBG macro for QString in debug output

    [gallaecio@afonsox kwave]$ git branch
    * master

I’m using imagemagick, by the way (which provides the convert command).

    Thanks for the input!

It seems that your version of imagemagick is new enough but does not have proper svg support and additionally you don't have the "rsvg" tool installed either (which would be preferred). That's a situation that I did not take into account.

It is also quite unpleasant that this comes out at a very late point of time, quite at the end of the build. I will add some test to the CMakeLists.txt to check this earlier...

So for the moment your options are:
    1) install rsvg
    2) find a version of "convert" with working svg
    3) try to build without online help (cmake -DWITH_DOC=OFF)

    sorry for the inconvenience...

Thanks a lot for the help, will do.

could you please try latest git/master version and tell me if it now works for you?
