    as I still cannot reproduce the problem here, can you please try the attached patch "kwave-0.8.0-library-cleanup.diff" and try again?

    I don't have this error anymore with your patch. Great!
    Do I integrate it in the debian directory as a ptch or you will release a new subversion?

    Could you please integrate it into Debian? As making a new release means a lot of work, I would like to wait some time and collect bugfixes until december and make a new release (v0.8.1) then.
