Thanks very much for doing this.  For the command

/sbin/modprobe netconsole netconsole=@/eth0,12345@10.0.0.1/00:E0:81:2B:0C:C1

do both the IP and MAC have to be set to the listening machine?  And to 
be clear - the nc listener is a machine on the same LAN?
