Technical details

Kubos is based on the OpenCASCADE library, which provides the 3D modelling kernel. OpenCASCADE is used by other open source CAD systems like FreeCAD or NaroCAD as well. Kubos is written entirely in Python and uses the OpenCASCADE library through pythonOCC. The Graphical user interface is based on Qt.

Kubos is designed to be easy to extend and modify and could potentially be used as a base for other applications.
