How can I overcome this problem?

    [code]
    /bin/sh ../../admin/mkinstalldirs /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kshutdown
    /usr/bin/install -c -p -m 644 index.docbook /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kshutdown/index.docbook
    /usr/bin/install -c -p -m 644 mainwindow.png /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kshutdown/mainwindow.png
    /bin/sh ../../admin/mkinstalldirs /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kshutdown
    /usr/bin/install -c -p -m 644 index.cache.bz2 /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kshutdown/
    rm -f /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kshutdown/common
    cp -p /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/common /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kshutdown/common
    cp: omitting directory /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/common' make[3]: *** [install-docs] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory/mnt/Common/Downloads/Linux/kshutdown-0.8.2/doc/kshutdown'
    make[2]: [install-am] Error 2

      Hi,

      KShutDown compiled under Kubuntu executes
      "ln -s /usr/share/doc/kde/HTML/en/common /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kshutdown/common"
      instead of
      "cp -p /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/common /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kshutdown/common"
I'm don't know why this does not work under FC :(

As workaround you can remove "doc" from the Makefile.am file (first line, source top level directory), then run make and make install again.

It worked once I had also removed "doc" from Makefile.in. The RPM was created successfully by "checkinstall".

Is there any way that you can turn the "doc" dir off automatically for FC users? This might help.
