This is a bugfix release that corrects the constellations links (the Peoria Astronomical Society re-organized their site), and a few other minor bugs.
Binary packages are available for: Fedora Core 2, SuSE 9.1, Mandrake 10.1, Slackware 10.0.

KSetiSpy 0.6.1 released

This is a bugfix release correcting some annoying bugs, such as the constellation hyperlinks, and group stats update.
RPMs (both source and x86 binary) are provided for: Fedora Core 1, Suse 9.0, Mandrake 9.2.

KSetiSpy 0.6.0 released

Version 0.6.0 is the last major update before the transition of SETI@home to BOINC.

It introduces several new features:
- network transparence: it is now possible to monitor clients through a variety of network protocols, such as ftp, ssh, sftp, http, webdav, etc.
- DCOP scriptability: you can control some of the functionality of KSetiSpy remotely from other programs or even the CLI.
- Support for the windows client: you can now specify different clients for regular work units and VLARS
- Icon themes: the look of KSetiSpy has been improved, and moreover you can choose between different sets of icons (there are currently two icon themes available, with a third in preparation)

KSetiSpy 0.5.2 released

KSetiSpy is a KDE utility that monitors the progress of the SETI@home client, and displays all kinds of information about the work unit(s) being processed.

This release features completely redesigned icons, available both as bitmaps and as SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). It also offers a dialog for setting the SETI@home CGI server parameters.

Pre-compiled packages are available for Mandrake 8.2 + KDE3, RedHat 7.3, SuSE 8.0, Slackware 8.1, and FreeBSD 4.6.

KSetiSpy 0.5.0 released

KSetiSpy is a KDE utility that monitors the progress of the SETI@home client, and displays all kinds of information about the work unit(s) being processed.

This version add a (very advanced) work unit cache management system. It also contains updates to the performance table, and it fixes several bugs and user interface glitches.

KSetiSpy 0.3.0 released

KSetiSpy is a KDE 2 utility that monitors the progress of the SETI@home client, and displays all kinds of information about the work unit(s) being processed.

Version 0.3.0 offers significant improvements over the previous version. In particular, the ability to read and write records to a log in either SETILog or SETI Spy format has been added. Also, you can now start, stop, and even change the priority of the SETI@home client.

KSetiSpy 0.2.0 released

This is the first public release of KSetiSpy.

KSetiSpy is a GNU/Linux utility program developed in KDE. It monitors the execution of the SETI@home client, and reports all kinds of information about the work unit(s) being processed.
KSetiSpy uses the same interface (and implements most of the same functionality) as SETI Spy, a popular windows SETI@home add-on.
