Ability to remove the playlist related toolbar, and
ability to remove the zoom in/out buttons and all the
contrast/brightness/gamma, etc buttons.

Then I can fit the progress bar on the main line and
have just that.

Showing time so far, switchable to time left (or buffer
amount at start) at the end of the progress bar would
also be great to not need the status line (oh, and
ability to remove status bar as well ofcourse).

I love some of kplayer's functionality and thanks for
making such a great frontend, but I use mplayer to set
it on top and not have 5 lines of info and status bar
and menu bars. So not being able to make kplayer more
space efficient is my number one complaint.

    Hi,

I am sure you noticed this, but you can choose which toolbars
should be shown on the Settings menu in KPlayer. You can also
hide the status bar and the menu bar. People who like the
"minimal" kind of mode have been using those settings quite
    successfully since version 0.1.

I will see how easy it is to get the toolbar editing dialog
working. It won't be soon though.

    Thanks.

Toolbar configuration dialog added in KPlayer 0.6.

And of course you can always hide or show any toolbar or the status bar.
