When i try to ./configure any part of KPHPDEV i receive an error:
-------
checking for kde headers installed...
configure: error: your system is not able to compile a small KDE application!
Check, if you installed the KDE header files correctly.
-------
I have RedHat 7.0 and following rpm packages installed:
kde2.1: kdelibs-devel-2.1-0.70.2
kdelibs-2.1-0.70.2
qt-2.2.4-0.70.4
gcc-2.96-54
Here [https://sourceforge.net/tracker/download.php?group_id=3659&atid=203659&file_id=6953&aid=429812] are the files config.log and config.list file produced by ./configure >>config.list
If somebody can help me with this, I will be very gratefull for help.

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
When I did 'locate ksock.h' I got the result '/usr/include/kde/ksock.h'. I then ran './configure --prefix='/usr/include/kde'. This was really nice because it changed the error message to:
'Checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no kde libraries installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!'
I then did 'locate libkdecore.la' which gave me the result '/usr/lib/libkdecore.la'. And this is where it ends. I have tried "./configure --prefix='/usr/include/kde' ----with-extra-libs='/usr/lib'" and "./configure --prefix='/usr/lib'" but I keep getting the same error.

Hi,
I have a similar problem.
Some additional info:
Running fedora core2.
running "rpm -qa | grep kde" gives the result:
