Everything I do here, is to report my experiences with SUSE 10.1, which obviously is still beta-software! By the way I've had similar troubles with other apps too (monodevellop, KCall ............) . Things (incl. KDE apps) work well with GNOME and misserably with KDE. Interestingly the combination gdm + KDE-Client works better than KDE pure. Strange devellopment, isn't it ?!!!? :-[ As an example, start monodevellop from the commandline and watch the error reports . Klaus |
