kpg - Knitting Pattern Generator / News: Recent posts

This release add support for generating illusion (aka shadow) patterns that are only visible when viewing the final knitted article at an angle.

This release also allows the background knit colour to be specified instead of defaulting to the first colour. Heuristics have been added to make suggestions as to what the background colour is.

A small simple GUI has been released for kpg to help novice users create knitting patterns from pictures.

The GUI use wxWidgets and is known to run under Windows and Linux.
