I'm trying to compile KPDF2 on Kubuntu Feisty (7.04) on an AMD64. After a few initial errors which were fixed by installing the libqt3-mt-dev and kde-devel packages (would be a good idea to document this so people know ahead of time, or better yet which specific headers you need, because the metapackages are rather large), I still get the following error:

checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.

Can you please document which KDE header files you're looking for, so I can at least search for them manually? Thanks. To anybody else reading this, have you succeeded in installing this on Kubuntu? What did you do to make config work?

Thanks.

Oops, disregard the title. It should read "Can't find KDE headers in Kubuntu". I started writing it before I figured out the solution to the first problem I was having.

Try installing kde-devel it is a meta-package, so it should get you what you need.
