KPDF2 / News: Recent posts

Changes to kpdf that were part of maintainance release of kdegraphics-3.5.6 have been merged into the source of KPDF2. This includes the fix for the security issues in kpdf.

Version 0.3.1 release of kpdf2 contains these fixes.

Added left tool panel to show all bookmarks. You can navigate to bookmarks, edit and remove from the side panel.

Fixed region bookmarks to be zoom normalized

Now that KPDF2 is detached from KDEGraphics, it doesn't make much sense to carry on with updating the patch.

KPDF2 is now fully detached from KDEGraphics and KPDF. Installs as a separate app (kpdf2) and separate part (libkpdf2part) with separate .desktop files and subsequent entries in K Menu and from Konqueror's "Preview In..." context menu.

Whew! Now I can get back to adding cool features. :)

Removed unnecessary files from patch - KDEGraphics make distclean failed to remove many intermediate files. Sorry about not catching that.

Now available in the downloads, version 0.1.0 of the standalone replacement for kpdf. WARNING: this version overwrites the existing kpdf.

Also available: version 0.2.0 of the patch for KDEGraphics-3.5.5
