Is there a way to restrict documents at a dept level. Currently if we set the security to 4 which is the minimum required to add documents, all users who have security of 4 can access the document whether they belong to same dept or a different department
Documents are not categorized as per departments because, departments producing documents may needed for others. In practice it is not applicable. On the other hand, If you would like to isolate a department, you can set up a new installation for that department.
Is it possible to add new installations into one PC server for department isolation. I know there is only one address as http://localhost but is there any way that may you suggest?
But, Sir, do i need to use another computer to install EDMS? or shall i use the same computer unit? meaning two (2) in one (1) unit? Please reply !!
