KontrolPack: 1.3.0 Released

KontrolPack is an efficient, cross-platform remote shell command executor. The project's goal is to improve system interoperability connecting remote computers (independently of operating systems running) and executing shell command across networks.

This release is stable. A few bugs have been fixed and the user interface has been improved. We hope that this release will allow people to understand and get an overview of what exactly is behind the idea of KontrolPack.

The main goal of this new release is to interact more and more with each platform.

KontrolPack has been ported into C++ programming language. Therefore, the performances have been improved. The project is therefore 100% native.

For the 1.3.0 release, the communication between clients and servers has been entirely rewritten. XML messages are used to send datas and informations between clients and servers. Some bugs have been fixed such as two bugs related to the script editor feature. Now, the script editor wait the end of a remote thread to start an other one.

The project is more stable and more integrated with each operating system.

Each KontrolPack is composed of a server named JKontrol and a client named ShellKontrol.
