Hallo,
von der Bundesbank kam jetzt die Info, daß der BIC der Sherbank (BLZ 500 200 00) in der aktuellen Bankleitzahlendatei falsch ist; der richtige BIC ist SEZDDEF1XXX. Unter https://sourceforge.net/projects/kontocheck/files/konto_check-de/5.4/ liegt eine Datei blz.lut2f.fixed bei der der korrekte BIC drin ist.

Gestern kam noch eine Email, daß zum 8. September keine neuen IBAN-Regeln definiert werden; damit sind die IBAN-Regeln vom 3. März 2014 weiterhin gültig.

I have uploaded to SF.net a new version of konto_check. This is a minor release that implements the newly defined check methods C8 and C9 and fixes some memory leaks.

I have uploaded to SF.net a new version of konto_check. This is again a minor release that implements the newly defined check method C7, valid from 2007-12-03 and corrects a bug in check method B9. The next major release will follow soon.

I have uploaded to sf.net the file lut2-alpha.zip. This file contains an alpha version of the routines for the new lookup table file format functions for konto_check; using these functions, it is possible to retrieve bank name and other fields of the Bundesbank file for a given bank id.

This is only a preview; the final routines will go into the next release.

konto_check is a library to check the validity of German and Austrian Bank Account Numbers. Most Bank Account Numbers contain a checksum digit; this library computes the checksum and compares it to the one found in the Account Number. It is usefull for Business Applications to check a given Bank Account Number for validity and rejecting incorrect numbers.
