If you are using NT/2000/XP, you can set the priority of the
Kast.exe process to below normal.

1 - Ctrl-Alt-Delete to get to a Windows dialog with six
buttons opn it. Choose Task Manager.
2 - Click on the Process tab, and then the Image Name
column. Look under the Image Name column for Kast.exe.
3 - Right click on it and choose Set Priority. Select Below
Normal.

Kast still runs at your CPUs max and hogs up a whole bunch
of memory, but it doesn't prevent your other apps from
running. at least not nearly as much :)
