I read on the developer blog that the source code tab has been removed in the coming build and replaced with a source dock. I like the idea of the dock focusing directly on the line of code currently selected so that there is little distraction in making the edit. However, would it be possible to still include the option of viewing & editing a page's whole source code? I personally have a preference for editing the source code by comparing different sections of the page at a go to get precise changes made as the WYSIWYG layout is sometimes not extremely accurate is displaying the graphical interface of whichever page I am working on (especially when it comes to the dimensions of tables and textboxes).

Thanks for all the effort in improving KompoZer, I'm looking forward to the next iteration!

This source tab has been partially re-implemented on the SVN trunk. KompoZer 0.8a3 will include a SeaMonkey-like source tab (i.e. no pseudo syntax highlighting), it should be there in a week or two.

I’m afraid it’ll take some time before I re-implement the pseudo syntax highlighting: there are many other bugs in the 0.8 branch that have to be addressed first.
