If changes are made to an external CSS file during a Kompozer session and the user later edits the HTML source, CascadeS will often lose the changes to the CSS. Closing and restarting Kompozer without saving will restore the changes made to the CSS and the user can then return to editing the HTML source without a problem.

Perhaps a feature where the CSS editor has a "Commit Chnages" button where it enters all changes into the external file versus a temporary file that they initially appear in could resolve this problem. The CascadeS editor's lack of a specific save feature makes editing CSS files difficult and often buggy, as in this case.

This should be solved by using the extension HandCoder

Using HandCoder's text editor feature may alleviate the problem, but it doesn't solve it. Perhaps I'm nitpicking, but a third-party piece of software should not be required in order to resolve an inherent problem in the piece of software in use.

The CascadeS CSS editor does not save and track changes properly when editing other parts of your document. This is a bug. Yes, using an external text editor instead of the Source tab in Kompozer is a work-around good for 7.9, but this is something that I would hope the programmer's would attempt to resolve rather than leave for someone else's software to clean up.

I want to support this request.
Having had plenty of trouble with my external CSS (loosing changes), I decided not to use the CSS-Editor in Kompozer, which is imho the only work around.
