Known issues and important changes in KOMA-Script 3.49

Known problems and important changes in the specified version are listed below. However, known problems often also affect earlier versions of KOMA-Script.

This version is currently under development and therefore only exists as code. Installation via l3build is possible. For productive use, version 3.48 should be used instead.

Important changes

scrbook, scrreprt, scrartcl:
- The classes do no longer redefine or use \@startsection, \@sect, \@ssect or \@xsect. The new internal sectioning commands still have the same number of arguments as the original LaTeX kernel commands. But using our own internal commands is only the first step of a redesign. In future the internal sectioning commands can change a lot, e.g., be replaced by internal functions in l3 syntax with completely different arguments. So nobody should use these internal commands but only the documented interfaces, e.g., the defined do-hooks.

Known Issues

As long as this version is under development, known problems will be collected via the bug tracker.
