I'm afraid I don't understand? You can select multiple entries, but not their 
"subentries". Of course, their "subentries" are accounted for when 
transfering entries, so there shouldn't be any problems.

Normally, you should be asked (there is a dialog asking if you want this as a 
name, a surname, or to ignore this entry), but if it doesn't I'll look it up.

This is just a generic "name override" feature, so that if you don't want to 
change the name in the phone for whatever reason, you don't have to. On the 
other hand, I might add a right click menu like "update in phone".

Xmm...maybe "DONT synchronize entries that only have email addresses" (eg. no 
phone numbers etc)
