causes segmentation fault iff configuration file is present
A simple, portable port scanner
Status: Beta

I am running a Debian GNU/Linux system, and recently
installed knocker 0.7.1-2. On first invocation it seems
to work fine (but see below), but on subsequent
invocations causes a segmentation fault. Removing the
entire ~/.knocker/ directory solves the problem, at
least for 1 invocation of knocker.
I have attached a sample session in a file.
Note that the # of open reports in the "completed"
section is 0, even though it sure looks like 1 open
port was found in the "scanning" section.

This problem seems to be solved in the AMD64 arch with the
patch I just posted, but testing under more general
conditions and architectures would be advisable.
