#36 Chess Engines Stop Playing...

Hi;

First of all Knights displays a very beautiful chess
board. I'm running Knights 0.6 under FreeBSD 6.1 and
KDE 3.5.1 on an AMD XP2200+ (1.8GHz) computer.

The chess engine Craft doesn't work at all, but
black's chess clock does until Crafty's flag is
pulled.

Knightcap works, but only for the first 3 or 4 moves,
then times out its clock just like Crafty.

Gnuchess4 does the same thing as Knightcap.

I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.

I have the same problem with knights and gnuchess. Knights
starts, no problem, but then i start playing a game, it
plays the first two moves, no problem, but then it hangs on
its third move while the clock keeps going and its cpu usage
remains high (process as gnuchess), I don't have this
problem with xboard where a whole game can be played using
gnuchess. I would prefer to use knights though. Any ideas?
