aseqmm is a C++ wrapper around the ALSA library sequencer interface using Qt4 objects, idioms and style. ALSA sequencer provides software support for MIDI technology on Linux. Several examples are included in the source tree.

Library sources are already bundled in KMetronome, KMidimon and KMid2 latest tarballs, and by default it is statically linked to these programs, so it is not necessary to download or distribute the library as a standalone package. Both programs have been migrated to KDE4.

This is a maintenance release. Bugs fixed:

* Fix a compilation error using GCC 4.

* Fix MIDI output for QSynth/Fluidsynth and other soft synths. It uses longer (configurable) durations, or even avoid using note off events entirely.

* Schedule always one bar ahead of current time, to avoid nasty little gaps between patterns.
