Should I proceed or have you got some suggestions? Hi Francesco, I'm very sorry for the late reply. You see, most of us are quite inactive at the moment, and nobody got to responding in, well, almost two months. (We all are either busy studying, working, or founding a company - or a combination...) About the issue: yeah, that ticket was created before we even had the InlineEdit, and the InlineEdit is actually quite nice. Maybe the two could be combined: have the inlineedit as a normal option, but have a dropdown 'button' at the right (just the button, not the complete widget), that when clicked displays a context menu with possible choices. Something similar to what happens when you click the KMess icon in the systray, or the status icon in the main window to the right. Do you think that's doable? (If you still want to do it, of course :( ) Sjors |
