@ List .... There are a few things I'd like to report / know.... 1st --> The size of the main KMess window isn't saved when I close KMess. When I resize the window and close KMess (doesn't matter if close and then quit or quit directly) and reopen KMess, the size of the main window changed back. 2nd --> There are some i18n strings I can't translate. They are in the applications.cpp. Do you want to accept the file: XX ( XX bytes ) Do you want to accept or cancel. You have rejected the invitation This are the two I saw the other day. I don't know if there are more.... 3rd --> Arend sent a patch yesterday to the Mailinglist, adding this /me blablabla stuff to KMess. I think this is a nice small feature. I saw that it wasn't in CVS this morning (german time). Why? ;) 4th --> There is a feature request "Toggleable status/event window" in the KMess Help-Forum (http://kmess.sourceforge.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=56). The guy requests to change the timestamps feature from: NICKNAME says: [Hour:Minute:Seconds] to [Hour:Minute:Seconds] NICKNAME says: He says that "the reason for this is becouse timestamps have always the same lenght while the nicknames not, so is more easy to follow timestamps on logs if they are putted at the start of the line..." What do you say to it? Concerning the title of his topic he says: " It would be very useful to have a toggleable status/event window into wich log all events, such as contacts changing their status, going online/offline, going/returning from away and so on. Log should be done in the form "[timestamp] event", a little like trillian status window. This is useful because if you need to talk to a people wich at the moment is away (e.g. to lunch) and if you have a lot of things to do in the meantime, if you know when he/she went away you can nearly figure out when he/she will return and so you can manage better your time. " Opinion? Thank you :) Jan :) -- KMess - MSN Messenger Clone for KDE 3 http://www.kmess.org |
