[Kmatplot-general] Problem compiling Kmatplot 4.0 in Red Hat 8.0

Hello everybody,

I've been trying to install Kmatplot under Red Hat 8.0 with no success. 
I've tried both the 4.0 and 3 versions. The make fails, no matter what 
command line options I provide. The binary executable crashed 
complaining about a missing symbol in the QT library. I've read some 
messages that seem to indicate that some people have been able to make 
it work under RH 8.0. Please, could anyone provide information of what 
additional packages (and where they can be found) are necessary in 
order to make it compile?
