As you see it isn't a high-traffic list :)  Now I'm working on the next major 
release and it will take me about a month or even more, so there are no new 
annoucements now.

You can try. I know nothing about Debian packages so I won't help you much, 
but it should not be more difficult than creating RPM package I think.
